Ground Station Field Technician
Our ears on the ground. Install, calibrate, and maintain antenna arrays across the Asia-Pacific ground network. RF experience required; comfort with remote sites assumed. Technicians rotate through Daejeon, Svalbard liaison, and two sites that appear in the roster as coordinates only.
This role is filled through the Ground Station Outreach Program's field review. Before you register, read what the last calibration rotation left in the log.
FIELD LOG — DAEJEON ARRAY, CALIBRATION ROTATION, 2031-05-02
Southwest-facing receiver replaced for the second time this quarter. The hardware is not failing. The sector it listens to goes quiet at the same hours every day, on a schedule you could set a watch by, and the array keeps reporting the quiet as damage.
Weather does not keep a schedule. Noting for the record, again.
